The ponderings of my 16 year old daughter
I love my children. Memories of them are always accompanied by gratitude.
I can’t help but wonder what I’ve done right to deserve such amazing children. I failed them in so many ways and yet, the way they show up on a daily basis, amazes me. Of course we have our moments, the good outweighs the bad by far.
Gen z
It seems gen z are so much smarter than I was at their age. I suppose we can ascribe it to technology, social media and life in general.
Meg
A cute, bubbly, messy teen with a real presence. Very pro active. Her own words, after she applied for her NI number. A self taught musician. She plays the guitar, ukulele, electric guitar (still learning) and flute. She also has the voice of an angel. Extremely opinionated, like all gen z’s. A top student with a love for literature, psychology and biology. She plans on specialising in child psychology some day. Meg walks into any room, plops herself somewhere and starts chatting away randomly. She seems happier. Between 13 and 15 was really tough. I am proud of the lady she is becoming.
